Description

Lord Vishnu/Krishna is worshipped through the Ekadashi Vrat Udyapan Puja. By carrying out this vrat and udyapan, one can achieve happiness in life and satisfy their desires.

When the Ekadashi fast is followed exactly as prescribed by the rituals, it is deemed complete. Udyapan is also required because all of the gods, goddesses, yakshas, nagas, and other witnesses of the fast are present. In this case, all of the gods and goddesses receive their share of the puja and havan performed during Udyapan, and the donations made during this time aid in the fast’s completion and grant the wishes of the karta.

To celebrate Ekadashi Udyapan, people hold pujas for Gauri, Ganesh, Kalash, and Navgraha. Prana pratistha and Vishnu avahan are practiced. Katha and Vishnuji Pratima receive an abhishek.
