Description

Bhoomi Puja is done to please Bhoomi Mata, also known as Mother Earth. Of the five elements, Bhoomi Mata is the most respected since without her, life cannot exist or live. Before beginning any construction, we perform puja to ask Mother Earth for her blessings and consent, as well as to eliminate any negative energy or Vastu dosh from the area.

Mother Earth’s mantras are chanted after Bhoomi Mata is invoked during this puja. Her blessings will be given to this pooja.

The main ingredients needed for Bhoomi puja are Haldi, Abeer, Gulal, Nag-Nagin joda, Tulasi, Darba, and Kalash.

When Should You Do a Bhoomi Puja?
Plan the date for when Vaastu, which occurs no more than twice a month, falls.
